An app is being tested by The London College of Fashion which aims to change the way consumers shop online by allowing us to try on clothing “virtually”. The app allows you to create an avatar of yourself, where you are then able to see what you look like in those items. Usually consumers decide whether they like the items purchased online after purchasing it and trying it on. The Lucy Mentoring Program is a one on one mentoring program offered to female undergraduate students in the faculty of business and economics, in their 2nd year and above of undergraduate studies. The program connects female students with industry leaders and professionals. The relationships the mentees build with their mentors helps them with identifying the skills they need to be successful in their future career paths, as well as offering advice and guidance. Both the mentees and mentors are required to be committed to the program by spending 20 hours together over 5 months.
